Colored Shadows (hardback copy only)
This work sits in the space between language and breath.
A face emerges, not fully revealed, not fully erased—pressed forward as if through fog, memory, or heat. The word NAMASTE hovers at the crown, fractured and imperfect, less a greeting than a residue of ritual.
Rendered in soft abrasion and shadow, the figure feels internal rather than observed. The eyes are closed, yet alert. The mouth is sealed, yet expressive. The body below dissolves into gesture, suggesting spine, lungs, or altar—an anatomy of presence rather than flesh.
This piece does not ask to be decoded.
It asks to be met.
Here, stillness is not passive.
It is active restraint.
A practiced quiet.
A moment before speech becomes belief.
